Vietnam Fundraising Update and Prayer Requests
We are two and a half weeks away from when we need to have all our money turned in for our Vietnam trip, and we are currently at 83% of what we need–so close! I am so grateful for all of those who have already donated, both money and items for us to sell on Facebook Marketplace. We were given so many items, I haven’t had the time to get it all prepared and ready to sell on Facebook Marketplace yet, but I’m still slowly working on it when I’m not working on other responsibilities! Whatever we don’t sell will go towards whatever missions we do next summer (or if we don’t do missions next summer, then to other missionaries).
We are so looking forward to our trip to Vietnam. I’ve been in touch with friends we made there, and we’re excited to see each other again! We can’t wait to put on this camp for the kids again, encouraging them to share their faith with those around them!
If you are willing to pray for us, here are our current prayer requests!
- We need to raise the last 17% we need financially.
- Greg and I will be teaching the adolescents–around 80-90 of them. We need God’s guidance as we prepare our talks and time for discussion.
- The team still has planning to do for the crafts, games, and other activities, and we will need God’s guidance for that, too.
- On Sunday, we’ll apply for our travel visas to Vietnam, so we’re praying that all the team members will be approved.
- We pray that God will prepare the kids’ hearts for this camp and prepare our hearts as we go.
- We would also love prayer for relationships on the team, that we will have unity and love each other well!

If you donate this way, it will be tax-deductible. Don’t be surprised when they ask for your birthday, phone number, and email address. They’re not going to put you on a mailing list. They’re just trying to identify who you are, so it can be tax-deductible for you. I’ve been told that if you don’t write the date in the form with a slash between the numbers, it won’t work. They’ll also ask for a campus, and you can say whatever campus you want–it doesn’t matter. I used to attend Fellowship Church Middlebrook, but it doesn’t matter at all which you choose. If you’d prefer, you could give to my Venmo or with a check, but it won’t be tax-deductible.
